Owl Crate!

So I'm really sorry about the silence around here. It's been a busy week (my birthday, something called Christmas, I don't know...) so as you can assume, I've not been reading or writing a whole lot.

Today was too big of a deal to not post about though. I got my first box from Owl Crate!! (Referral link, if you decide to order through them, use my link, I'd appreciate it!) It's actually my first paid subscription box (I've gotten a few for free) so I was extra excited for this. A new book, a cute button, a whole bunch of good things.

New look!

It took me some time to decide how to make this place look. I've been eyeballing many other bloggers' blogs (haha) and am slowly getting my own idea of what I want this all to look like.

Adding some very pretty social media buttons to my sidebar now, in 'golden' and 'bluebell', from Carrie Loves (direct link to the post that has a TON of them!) so you guys will know where to find me all over the internet!

Changed which Pinterest account is on here (my personal one is insanely huge, but has a lot of things unrelated to this blog) which is kind of bare right now, but it'll be full of stuff soon enough too. Hopefully I start to figure out how to make my OWN posts worth putting up on Pinterest too, heh.

So yeah! Finally chose a name, as you can see (I do a whole lot of nothing, but apparently it's all special, so "special nothings" it is!) getting the "look" just right, and feeling confident in myself more every day I fiddle with this thing! Confidence is always great!

Slowly but surely...

Making this little bit of the internet look good, as good as I can, anyway. ;)

Have my Pinterest made into a widget on the side now. Lots of everything there. Writing things, recipes, crafting stuff, things I'd like for our house one day...

Hopefully I'll actually DO some of the things I pin, hehe.

Soooo, yeah! Getting there! :)
